A few days ago before the blight killed the tomato plants on the left. I'm counting on the peppers on the right.
Two of my pepper plants have gigantic leaves. no peppers on them at all.
Grew some nice cubanelles this year.

On the Seneca lake wine trail in August.
Kayaking with cousins Carol and Peter in the Allegheny River.
"Paddles Up" river run.
"Paddles Up" kayak fest on Grand island 7/27.
Herons on Strawberry Island in early July.
Entering the Strawberry Island lagoon in the Niagara River.
Kayaking in the Buffalo River. Touring the urban ruins.
Hoophouse at the beginning of June. Lilies were late this year and sales were hurt. The pepper plants on the right did well in the warmth.
Fruit was back to normal this year after last year's freeze-out. We had more mulberries and raspberries than the critters could eat, so we had some.
Gotta get out there and do more kayaking. Only a few summer weeks left.

Wendell Berry:
“The care of the Earth is our most ancient and most worthy, and after all, our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it and to foster its renewal is our only hope.”
